Ickle Bubba XL Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent option for parents looking for a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. The travel system includes a lie flat carrycot for babies and a dual-position rear and forward facing seat for a pushchair.
The XL Air is a really impressive buggy and it's easy to understand why it has received such high praise from its customers. It is extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg. It is also very simple to put together. I was able to get it up and running in less than five minutes - which is remarkable considering it also includes the ability to attach fabric to the carrycot.
It has a lovely wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very simple to use. There's plenty of space inside the basket and I am awestruck by the fact that it has a zip-up compartment in the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone secure!
The only downside is that the handlebar is quite low, which could be an issue for parents who are taller. But, it's covered with a luxurious leather-like material that is soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, making it still a breeze to push with children and bags on your hands!

The front wheel is lockable for greater stability on narrow streets and crowded sidewalks and the stroller folds up easily to fit into car boots and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebars are a bit higher than some competitors, so they might not be suitable for smaller parents. However the stroller is durable and adaptable, and is worth considering for families with active children.

Bugaboo Fox 5
The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain pushchair Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more mobile than its predecessor. I tested it with my two children eight weeks old and a toddler - on rough pavements, grassy wooded walks and even cobblestones.
The puncture-proof wheels are big with a diameter of 22cm and 30cm which means they can handle all kinds of terrain. They also come with a handy flap that can open or closes to let more air to enter if you need it, which is a nice feature. It's slightly larger than other pushchairs, but doesn't feel heavy or bulky when you push it across bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat can be machine washed and the faux leather frames and grips are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt comfortable using it in busy city streets. One of the advantages is that it comes with accessory points, meaning you can add footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a tray for snacks. The hood can be used to block out the elements of wind and rain, but it's not waterproof. The single pram is able to be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more legroom.
